Death does not exist in Elther. In the Abyss, the dreams and nightmares of the Awakened mingle to purge damned souls: dreams shape new souls, which nightmares then purify. Eternal agents patrol the Abyss with a divine task of macabre cleansing. The one called Nightmare Reaper regulates the overpopulation of nightmares that cannot find inner peace, cutting short their very existence, which is harmful to the cycle imposed by the divinities.
