Lore

Lost deep within the Dreaming Forest stands Vladislaus's manor. This edifice is the very last building erected by the Duchy of Shadows and a true jewel of craftsmanship. In this endless labyrinth, certain creatures prowl, watching for the slightest intruder. Everything suggests that the manor's occupants have undergone irreversible mutations... Bernard was the head butler, in charge of keeping the premises orderly and clean. For many years, he was Vladislaus's valet, never once failing in his duty. A strapping fellow standing at least two meters tall, he reassured the rest of the staff with his courteous and most engaging smile. Books never fail to praise Bernard among the illustrious figures who have peopled this world. Bernard's descendants still live in Lumethia and never miss a chance to tell the stories of their ancestor, whom they regard as an infallible model of decorum.
